Carriers have begun making pre-orders for the Galaxy S II, and they’re pretty impressive. More than 3 million pre-orders have been placed for Samsung’s newest flagship smartphone across the 120 countries and 140 carriers where it will be released. Its predecessor, the Galaxy S, sold 10 million units in 2010 and it looks like its replacement is set to break that mark. This will be the Android phone of the year, and likely the smartphone of the year. Phone reviewers have already received their test units, and they are very impressed. Even Engadget gave the phone a 9/10, a rating usually reserved for Apple devices (because Engadget is somewhat biased).

The Galaxy S II packs a 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processor, Samsung’s TouchWiz 4.0, a brilliant 4.27″ Super AMOLED Plus display, an 8MP camera (1080p recording), and Gingerbread (Android 2.3.3). It does all this while remaining a very trim 8.49mm thick. It’s even supposed to have above-average battery life, something rarely found in the newest smartphones.

This is the phone I’ve been waiting for since before they upgraded it from a 1Ghz NVIDIA Tegra 2 to the 1.2GHz Samsung Exynos. That Exynos benchmarks the Galaxy S II as one of the fastest, if not the fastest, smartphone(s) to date. According to Quandrant (a performance benchmark app) the Galaxy S II is more than three times as fast as the Galaxy S. It even manages to more than double the speed of the Google Nexus One, a phone well-known for performance.

It is believed that the Galaxy S II will be coming to all four main U.S. carriers, and that it will be equipped with 4G. I don’t think Samsung would give their golden egg all that processing power but neglect a 4G antenna. When you combine all of the specs of the Galaxy S II you are left with a phone that stands above the rest–no current phone comes close. Even the recently released LG G2X, DROID Charge, and HTC Thunderbolt won’t be able to catch the Galaxy S II.

TouchWiz 4.0 has received pretty good reviews, and should be a nice addition to the vanilla Android Gingerbread. This new Samsung overlay will also be on the Galaxy Tab 2s (8.9 and 10.1), adding similarities between the two devices. Overlays are largely personal preference, be it HTC Sense, Samsung TouchWiz, or Motorola’s Motoblur they don’t weigh very heavily on my decision to purchase a phone as I know adapting to each will require little effort. Nevertheless, TouchWiz 4.0 looks promising based on the review videos on YouTube.

Looking at everything Samsung has brought to the table with their new Galaxy S II it will be interesting to see how Apple responds with their iPhone 5 come this September (if rumors are correct). Apparently the iPhone will be only a mild refresher of the current iPhone much like the iPhone 3G to the 3Gs or the iPad to the iPad 2. I expect they’ll add the A5 dual-core chip and there is talk of them lessening the bevel to the right and left of the screen. Regardless, the iPhone 5 probably won’t be able to match the Galaxy S II for speed given the 20% higher GHz. I think what will be the determining factor for most people, UIs aside, is whether they prefer the 4.27″ display of the Galaxy S II or the smaller (and arguably easier to manage) display of the iPhone. What is disappointing, when it comes to Apple products, is that legitimate competitors are less of an issue because just about anything with an “i” before its name will sell like wildfire. That being said, I think the Galaxy S II may have what it takes to get people to seriously look before just grabbing the newest iDevice.

Below I’ve included some videos of Samsung pushing the speed and display of the Galaxy S II. They joke around with the fantastic realism of the display, but based on reviews, the joke might not be too far-fetched. As it stands now, the release date for the Galaxy S II is believed to be either May or June, and I can’t wait!

The PlayStation Network first went down April 20th–19 days ago–and it’s still not back up. In a previous post, I talked about the outage and who may have been responsible. No one would’ve guessed that it would still be down almost 20 days later. Sony was the victim of a cyber attack which exploited some weakness in their system to the point that Sony decided to rebuild the entire thing rather than risk another attack. Sony has reported that all basic customer info (i.e., name, address, etc.) has been compromised. Sony is still uncertain if the attackers were able to gain the credit card info of their users. Nevertheless, they have taken the precaution of issuing free identity theft services to all of their U.S. PlayStation users.

Recently there have been reports that Sony may offer a bounty to weed out those responsible for the attack so that they can be prosecuted. It is still up in the air whether or not Sony will take this path, but it does seem like a legitimate possibility. Should Sony decide to post the bounty they would be working with the FBI and other law-enforcement agencies to see the capture through. Right now Sony believes that the hacker group known as “Anonymous” is responsible. They took responsibility for an early attack on the PSN which put it down for a short time, but deny any involvement in the most recent attack which has put the PSN out of commission for such an extended time.

Aside from Sony, game developers for the PS3 like Capcom are also feeling the hurt. On the PSN outage Capcom said it is “costing us hundreds of thousands, if not millions.” With losses like that from multiple game developers, on top of what Sony is losing, I would be very surprised if a serious effort was not made to find those responsible for the attack.

The latest estimates still have the PlayStation Network down for a couple more weeks with it being restored sometime around the end of May/beginning of June.

Many PlayStation gamers don’t know what to do with themselves now that they are unable to access online game play, much to the amusement of XBOX 360 owners. At first PS3 gamers were upset and wanted info immediately, but after a couple of weeks their ferocity has lessened and they’ve quieted down. “Funny or Die” has done a short skit showing just how affected these gamers have been.

Enjoy that short skit below which comes in the format of a PSA from the NNRF (National Nerd Relief Fund)…you should be entertained.

2013 Jaguar C-X75

Jaguar has been on a roll lately with their new car designs. The new XJ, XF, and XK are more aggressive but retain the elegance that Jaguar is known for. Their C-X75 is no exception. Originally, it was a concept that people thought would never see production. It turns out they were wrong, as it has just been green-lighted for a limited production run. Only 250 C-X75s will be produced from 2013 to 2015. The last Jaguar that came close to the price-point and specs of the C-X75 was the XJ220. The final production year for the XJ220 was 1994, and 281 had been produced. The car is still considered iconic, and it looks as if Jag decided it was time for a successor. If you’re familiar with the XJ220 (or clicked the link) you can see the similarities between the two vehicles. The main difference, aside from more than a decade of tech, is that the C-X75 will be a hybrid.

Porsche 918 Spyder

While it will be a hybrid, its price will put the Volt and Prius to shame. It will even manage to surpass the $900,000 hybrid Porsche 918 and nab the title for most expensive hybrid. How expensive? The C-X75 will be priced from £700,000 to £900,000 ($1.15 mil to $1.47 mil) depending on where the vehicle is purchased. The price alone puts it in hypercar territory, but so do its performance specs.

Concept Instrument Panel

While the concept version was powered by two turbine engines, the production version will drop those for a seriously turbocharged four-cylinder engine coupled with “two powerful electric motors,” one for each axle. The four-wheel drive C-X75 will be able to reach 60 mph in under 3 seconds and 100 mph in less than 6. Top speed will be in excess of 200 mph: something expected of a hypercar.

The C-X75 also has a chassis made entirely of carbon fiber reducing its weight to just shy of 3,000lbs (lighter than a Ford Focus). The hybrid portion will enable the car to run at least 30 miles on pure-electric power and will allow the car to reach CO2 emissions below 99g/km.

The aerodynamics of the C-X75 are thanks to Williams F1. Owners will be able to say they have a car designed by a Formula 1 race team…not too shabby. Looking at the car, it’s very believable.

I’ve included a video below of Jay Leno giving the concept C-X75 a once-over.

When you think of Audi and Bugatti I’d be surprised if boats came to mind. Recent concepts for both companies might change that in the future. At this point they’re each more of a design exercise, but given how amazing they look I would love to see them on the water. The first concept boat is the Audi Trimaran, designed by Stefanie Behringer working with an Audi design team. If you’re unfamiliar with the term “trimaran” it’s the expansion of the catamaran, only it has three hulls instead of two. The result is a more stable vessel without the drag associated with a single-hull vessel of the same width. The design puts the vessel at 50 feet long with a 21 foot wide central hull. Granted this is all in theory, but what makes this design so cool, aside from its aesthetics, are the two jet skis built into the main vessel.

Each outrigger hull would house a 100 hp fully electric jet ski which could be removed and used to joy ride. The skis could also be used to maneuver the vessel at low speeds and to power it up to 8 knots (9 mph). Under full power, the yacht is believed to have a top speed of around 40 knots (46 mph). The main power comes from two V12 turbo diesels producing 500 hp each. Combine that with the 200 hp from both jet skis and the Audi Trimaran would have 1200 hp at its disposal. That’s a 1200 hp hybrid yacht (granted the electric portion has very limited use). If the Audi Trimaran ever sees production, I would hope they would beef it up even further so that the yacht is capable of speeds approaching 52 knots (60 mph) but given its size, that might mean considerably larger engines.

The deck of the yacht is designed to comfortably support up to twelve people, and there is additional room below deck. In fact, the Audi Trimaran would feature four berths (bedrooms) and I’m sure they would be willing to outfit the living space in whichever way an owner would like. Given the likely exorbitant cost this vessel would demand, I would hope customization would be made extremely easy.

The Bugatti Sang Bleu Speedboat concept comes from Ben Walsh. There’s not much info on the specifics of this design concept, other than the boat’s length of 30 ft. If you look to the slideshow below, you will see that from behind the speedboat concept looks very much like a Veyron, whereas from the pictures above it may remind you of something from Star Wars. Regardless of what it reminds you of, it’s clearly a good-looking boat that most anyone would be proud to call their own. Based on the images, it appears this design favors a single engine, but given the engine would likely be a marinized version of the Veyron’s (1,000+ hp) it should be more than enough to send this boat howling across the water. It’s crazy to think how much this boat would cost if it were to actually go into production. The cheapest Bugatti (that’s a massive oxymoron) is around $1,400,000. That’s more expensive than most houses, let alone boats. I imagine a boat from that iconic brand name would have to work overtime to stay out of the double-digit millions.

So, both Bugatti and Audi have some pretty awesome designs, though if I had to pick one it would be the Audi Trimaran without even thinking. I love that it has the combined jet skis and its overall size; plus, it simply looks phenomenal. Check out the slideshow below for more pictures (CGI and scale models) of both designs.

There are a lot of people with a Gmail account, myself included, and while I’ve never been concerned about the contact limit I guess some people were. Until two days ago (May 4th) the cap for Gmail contacts was set at 10,000. I know, how dare they (#sarcasm). But, for those who needed more, Google has just come through. In fact, they have more than doubled the cap, raising it to 25,000 contacts–that. is. a. town. News of this made me feel ashamed to only have around 200 Gmail contacts.

So who is elated to learn of this? Well, I’ve got some pics below of those that come to mind. Let’s just say people know them, oh, and they’re kind of a big deal…

But Google didn’t stop at just expanding the contact list, they also expanded the amount of space one contact could take up. The limit has been raised from 32KB to 128KB. It enables you to keep more info in the “notes” section for each contact. When you combine the increase in contact storage with the increased contact list, you get a tenfold increase in Google cloud storage (32KB x 10000 = .3GB; 128KB x 25000 = 3GB). The only people I think this change affects are business users with extensive, and I mean Ex-ten-sive, networks. I would think for the vast majority of us, it doesn’t really matter, but it makes for an interesting bit of info. Now you can say you know the maximum number of contacts one Gmail user can have…if you ever wanted to.

Colombiana‘s trailer just premiered today, and it’s anything but shabby. Not only does it come from the writers of Taken (which basically requires me to see this movie), it is also from the director of Transporter 3. That’s not a bad combination, but before I put forth my thoughts you need to watch the trailer if you’ve yet to do so.

Here it is:

So, the basic premise as I see it is this: Cataleyla (Zoe Saldana) saw her parents murdered when she was nine years old and over the next fifteen years has become a talented assassin. She finds love while at the same time she learns the location of her parents’ killers. They know she’s found them and set about trying to kill her before she can kill them.

That’s all fine and good, but what’s really interesting is that the trailer makes it clear Cataleyla has been trained to kill since she was just ten years old. Training a young girl to kill…Sounds sort of familiar doesn’t it? Well it should, since that was the basic plot of the recently released Hanna. Colombiano almost seems like a continuation of Hanna. If you’ve not seen that movie (solid acting, poor movie), it ends with the death of Hanna’s father. Hanna manages to kill the woman directly responsible, and then presumably goes on to live her life. Colombiano is similar in that both have very young girls trained to kill and both girls have parents who have been murdered. Hanna ends where Colombiana begins.

But this movie reminds me of a few productions aside from Hanna. Looking at the pic above, how could one not think of The Bourne Identity/Supremacy/Ultimatum at least a little? I’m also heavily reminded of hulu’s original TV show The Confession. If you’ve not seen it, you need to. Here’s a link. It’s a short show–episodes are only around five minutes long–and it has Kiefer Sutherland playing an assassin who saw his mother killed at a young age. Seems to be some kind of theme doesn’t it? Like I said though, it is centered on an assassin who saw a parent murdered (I would explain, but I might ruin it) before his eyes, just like Cataleyla in Colombiana.

So, who other than Zoe Saldana–whom I hope you recognize from Avatar and Star Trek–is in Colombiano? From the trailer, I recognized three others of note. Cliff Curtis (whom I know from Trauma) plays Emilio, who seems to be the one responsible for Cataleyna’s deadly training. I also recognized the guy who plays Cataleyna’s love interest, but couldn’t place him. As it turns out (thanks to IMDb) I recognized him (Michael Vartan) from Never Been Kissed, though many likely know him from Alias. The last actor I recognized is one many recognize by face, but can’t pair with a name. That man is Lennie James, and he plays a Secret Agent who is trying to arrest Cataleyna. If you’ve seen The Walking Dead, Human Target, Hung, or Jericho (I hate that it was canceled) you should be familiar with the guy.

All in all, I think Colombiano should be a pretty cool movie. Judging from the amount of weapons, explosions, and lingerie this movie shouldn’t have much trouble keeping my attention. It’s set to release September 2nd, and I think it’s worth a shot. I look forward to the next trailer to get a better idea of what the movie will be about.

I’m a fan of Land Rover. They make quality vehicles that look good tame but can be wild off-road. Most people show their Range Rover lineup a lot more love than the more reasonable LR(insert # here), but the LR4 really does deserve some props. It’s the roomiest Land Rover, and IMO, an all-around good-looking SUV. The white LR4 pictured above and below is a personal favorite of mine.

Land Rover ads, regardless of the model, tend to be about the vehicle’s technology, off-road ability, or incredible luxury. “Land Rover. Go Beyond.” That is what Land Rover is all about, doing the extraordinary. Land Rover want its customers to be able to go beyond the everyday, and they’ve been diligent about advertising that owners can do just that. What they don’t usually advertise, though it’s certainly there, are the safety aspects inherent in all of their vehicles. They likely think such features and abilities are implied, and if you’ve ever ridden in a Land Rover, on a sunny day or in three feet of snow, you’re likely inclined to agree with them. You know just how safe you feel when you’re in one. Nevertheless, Land Rover has taken it upon themselves to make sure people know just how safe people feel when they’re in a LR4. That is what this newest ad campaign is all about.

2011 LR4

While these ads may not be laugh-out-loud funny, they’re certainly entertaining. I’ve left the most entertaining video for last, to give you a chance to warm up to the basic premise. They all involve someone telling another person or persons something they don’t want to hear and doing it from the safest place they know–their Land Rover LR4.

Enjoy!

The first trailer for Immortals was recently released, and the movie looks like it will be very entertaining. Like it says on the poster, it comes from the producers of 300, and it definitely is in that vein. When I watched the trailer I thought it seemed the product of 300, Troy, and Clash of the Titans. I think that if they managed to retain all the best aspects of those movies we might have something genuinely worth seeing come 11/11/11. We have the deadly archer possibly descended from a God, the quest he goes on to set things in balance, and the visuals to back it up.

MovieWeb has a great plot summary:

Eons after the Gods won their mythic struggle against the Titans, a new evil threatens the land. Mad with power, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) has declared war against humanity. Amassing a bloodthirsty army of soldiers disfigured by his own hand, Hyperion has scorched Greece in search of the legendary Epirus Bow, a weapon of unimaginable power forged in the heavens by Ares.

Only he who possesses this bow can unleash the Titans, who have been imprisoned deep within the walls of Mount Tartaros since the dawn of time and thirst for revenge. In the king’s hands, the bow would rain destruction upon mankind and annihilate the Gods. But ancient law dictates the Gods must not intervene in man’s conflict. They remain powerless to stop Hyperion…until a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill) comes forth as their only hope.

Secretly chosen by Zeus, Theseus must save his people from Hyperion and his hordes. Rallying a band of fellow outsiders—including visionary priestess Phaedra (Freida Pinto) and cunning slave Stavros (Stephen Dorff)—one hero will lead the uprising, or watch his homeland fall into ruin and his Gods vanish into legend.

I’ve always loved the concept of the Gods giving man the tools to do what they cannot or will not do. The Greek Gods tend to make for interesting movies because the stories they stem from are so human. Not only are the tales of the Gods relatable, at least in some ways, they’re compelling and incredibly intricate. Every God has a story all their own and they come to be interlaced together in some kind of grand masterpiece. That they can have children with humans to produce demigods only works to make the stories all the more grand and expand that web. The stories, all of them, are legendary. When I think of Poseidon or Zeus, I can’t help but feel invigorated with the awesome powers and abilities they were told to have. That we still know their tales and stories is proof of just how good they are. Greek mythology is confirmed to be at least 2,800 years old, and many believe the real number to be closer to 4,000. It’s incredible to think that those same stories have lasted that long thanks to written and oral traditions. In my book, any movie that touches on that amazing subject matter at least deserves a chance, and with the trailer for Immortals I know I’ll be sure to see it opening weekend.

Another Earth recently released its movie trailer after doing well at the Sundance Film Festival. From the title of the film, you can gather it has to do with another planet earth and the implications which ensue. That being said, the Facebook page for Another Earth outlines the story as:

Rhoda Williams, a bright young woman accepted into MIT’s astrophysics program, aspires to explore the cosmos. A brilliant composer, John Burroughs, has just reached the pinnacle of his profession and is about to have a second child with his loving wife. On the eve of the discovery of a duplicate Earth, tragedy strikes and the lives of these strangers become irrevocably intertwined. Estranged from the world and the selves they once knew, the two outsiders begin an unlikely love affair and reawaken to life. But when one is presented with the chance of a lifetime opportunity to travel to the other Earth and embrace an alternative reality, which new life will they choose?

The stars of the film are newcomer Brit Marling, who was also a writer for the movie, and William Mapother, who you may recognize as Ethan from Lost. There is a lot of hype around the movie right now, and because it was on the IMDb homepage, I watched the trailer, and at first glance it seems pretty solid. Now, before I give my take on the trailer, if you’ve yet to see it, I’ve included it below.

Now after watching that, you may have been swept away by the concept of another you and another world altogether. I know that the first time I watched the trailer, I wondered what the “other me” would be like, how he would look and act and everything. After that wore off, I watched the trailer again and realized that there are likely huge plot holes.

I’m going to ignore the entire concept of a planet, identical to our own, appearing in our solar system within human sight. They could address that with some kind of sci-fi line very easily. Next, there is life on this other planet earth advanced enough to communicate with us through space. But they don’t stop there, they go on to say there is “another you” on that planet, and that is where the entire story will likely fall apart. Given the millions of years that the planet was in existence and the limitless decisions that people have made, the forces which acted upon them, and the random events that cause countless chains of events each day, there is no chance of there being another version of “you” on that planet. The possibilities are literally infinite. That planet could have entirely different life forms. Dinosaurs may not have gone extinct from a massive asteroid, there may not have been an Ice Age–your imagination can run wild with the various events that could or could not have happened. Even if humans became the dominant species, there could be entirely different countries and cultures. There is zero chance of there being a different you that made different decisions. I’m not even sure how they can, or if they do, rectify such an obscene notion.

What is somewhat disheartening, is I would not be surprised if they expected you to just “go with it.” Because it is an independent film, I don’t expect them to focus much on the actual science fiction. I know I’m generalizing, but most independent films are character studies that try to analyze or make some point about society. The general public isn’t interested in watching those kinds of movies. Sony Pictures spent more than $70 million on Battle: Los Angeles but an independent production company picked up Another Earth. If Another Earth was something that mainstream moviegoers would enjoy, it would have been produced by a major production company.

Getting back to the trailer, it’s incredibly clear that Rhoda gets into an accident with John, and kills his wife, unborn child, and possibly his son. Whether she was drunk, or distracted, or whatever is unclear, but she apparently flees the scene, or at least never meets the man she made into a widower as the person responsible for the accident. She then is unable to tell him that she is the one who ruined his life and ends up having a romantic relationship with him? But then struggles with the relationship and the guilt with what she did. She clearly wins a trip to the other earth, and we are left to wonder what she will do.

That’s not really a movie I want to see. In the trailer Brita Marling says it’s “about a girl”, “and her issues” is left out. It is clear that this is not at all the sci-fi movie the title would lead many to believe. While I doubt I will see this in theaters, critics and user may very well sway me. Looking at the YouTube stats for the trailer above, it has been viewed just under 100,000 times and 96% of the 700 people who voted, voted thumbs up. At the same time, on IMDb, the movie currently has a 6.3/10 based on just over 100 votes–presumably from those who saw it at the Sundance Film Festival. In the end, I don’t think that this film will have any kind of mass market appeal and believe that those who see it not knowing exactly what they are getting into will leave very disappointed. The film is set to release July 20th,a poor time-slot given it will almost certainly be obscured by the releases of Captain America:The First Avenger and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2. Whether or not it deserves to be overshadowed by blockbusters and the like remains to be seen.

If you’ve seen an HBO series, you know they tend to do shows right. They don’t hold back. Their shows are believable and real. After watching the first two episodes of Game of Thrones, I can see that they have kept that reputation alive–Game of Thrones is a fantastic show.

If you’ve never heard of the show and are a fan of fantasy, genre TV, or just quality TV, you’re missing out. The show is based on George R.R. Martin’s bestselling fantasy book series A Song of Ice and Fire. The first book of that series is A Game of Thrones. Typically shows adapted from books suffer severe criticism from those who have already read the book(s): ABC’s Legend of the Seeker is a perfect example. ABC took the concept and the names and then disregarded the books near to entirely. Fans of Goodkind—the book series’ author—were alienated and upset to see an outstanding book series turned into relatively cheap TV. The acting was sub-par, the plot had gaping holes, and the show didn’t have the budget to make it look real.

Game of Thrones is a different animal entirely. While there will certainly be some debate over how the books were translated to screen, I think readers will be pleased with the overall results. Game of Thrones is simply well done, there’s nothing on TV quite like it. The closest storyline is Starz’s Camelot and, though I like that show, it is unable to match the caliber of Game of Thrones. One could easily say that Game of Thrones is a more mature and filling Camelot with a better budget. Everything you see, from the scenes and dress, to the lighting and camera angles, contributes to this believable show. You rarely find yourself pointing out what is CGI(computer-generated images).

This is Game of Thrones in a nutshell:

Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Political and sexual intrigue abound. The primary families are the Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon families. Robert Baratheon, King of Westeros, asks his old friend Eddard Stark to serve as his chief advisor. Eddard, suspecting that his predecessor had been murdered, accepts so that he can investigate further. It turns out more than one family is plotting to take the throne. The Queen’s family, the Lannisters, may be hatching a plot to take control. Across the sea, the last surviving members of the previously deposed ruling family, the Targaryens, are also plotting a return to power. The conflict between these families and others, including the Greyjoys, the Tullys, the Arryns, and the Tyrells, leads to war. Meanwhile, in the north, an ancient evil awakens. Amidst war and the political confusion, a brotherhood of misfits, The Night’s Watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and the horrors beyond.

Two episodes, that’s all it will take to get you hooked on this show. The first episode throws a lot of characters and different story lines into the mix. While I wasn’t entirely sure of the overall story, I knew I liked it. The second episode gives you a chance to gather your bearings while still progressing the story. It’s so interesting that you just can’t help yourself: you want to see where the story goes. I was so curious as to how it all pans out that I bought the first book of the series. When a show can get you reading in addition to watching, you know it’s good. A television show that makes you want more is one worth your time.

While I’ve only just started reading the book, the show seems to follow the book almost to the letter. While I doubt it will be able to keep that parallel for long, it shows that the show is genuinely trying to do the books justice and not muddy the story that is already there. The fantastic opening to the show (below) is a perfect example of how the show makes an effort to bring the book to life, here taking the book’s map and making it into so much more.

This will be a hit show for HBO, there is no question–already IMDb users have given the show a 9.4/10 based on more than 2,500 votes. HBO has already renewed the show for a second season just after the first episode aired. The only downside to this series is that the first season comprises only ten episodes.

After watching the trailer below I’d be genuinely surprised if you didn’t give Game of Thrones a look.
